Canada beats U.S. in men’s hockey semifinals
The long-awaited semifinals between the United States and Canada has arrived. This was arguably one of the most anticipated games of the Winter Olympics for both Canada and the U.S. One Chicago billboard satirically advertised that the loser would have to keep Justin Bieber, a pop star who has recently become known in both the U.S. and Canada for criminal offenses in both countries. Only one goal was scored during the entire game, which entailed three 20-minute periods, which put Canada ahead of the U.S., progressing to the finals. Currently, Canada has won the gold in a 3-0 game against Sweden, which has the silver medal, and Finland with the bronze after a 5-0 victory against the U.S.
