As reported by The San Francisco Chronicle, 1 1/2 tons of confetti rained down upon the World Champion San Francisco Giants and their fans on Oct. 31 as San Francisco celebrated its second World Series victory in three years.
Just the confetti used in the parade, held through downtown San Francisco, reportedly cost $30,000.
“It’s the biggest single-shot order I’ve ever seen,” said Brian Baker of Confetti Unlimited in Anaheim, as reported by the Chronicle.
The Urban School of San Francisco let students out at 11:00 a.m, as the parade started, so students could celebrate with friends and family.
Legend staffers David Immerman, Tessa Petrich, Ella McLeod, Hannah Berk and Jacob Winick captured the experience using their smartphones and cameras so that Giants fans can revel in their victory one more time.
