For Urban students, April 20th marks the day that Dean Charlotte Worsley advises us to stay off of Haight Street as well as remarkable traffic delays in the surrounding neighborhood. 4/20’s celebration of cannabis draws huge crowds to the Haight area. With marijuana fumes more pungent than any other day of the year, Urban’s surroundings become nothing short of a sensory overload. A broad range of people flood down the streets, many on their way to Golden Gate Park, some waiting in the long line in front of Cookies clothing and smoke store, others are simply on their usual route home.
